Fundamental Rules of Qiraat

Based on our humble experience, we found that there is a need to teaching the fundamental rules of the qiraat before allowing the student to start reading a full khatma (complete recitation of the quran from beginning to end). That’s why designed this set of courses which will be taught in different languages.

This is a group of courses designed to facilitate learning Qiraat in order to fulfill the Hadith of the Prophet (ﷺ), as an attempt to make it easy on the Ummah (أَنْ هَوِّن عَلَى أُمَّتِي).

So, we planned a series of courses teaching:

                        Usool (fundamental rules) of the Qiraat 

in order to help students take their first steps in learning Qiraat. 

Before starting the journey of study of qiraat in-shaa-Allah, we will be giving a public introductory session about the Science of Qiraat. 

This will be followed, in-shaa-Allah, by a course explaining one of the Qiraat/Riwayat- together with an adequate amount of practice.

Inspiration

Narrated Ubayy bin Ka’b:

He (the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم ) said to me: Ubayy. a message was sent to me to recite the Qur’an in one dialect, and I replied:

Make (things) easy for my people.

It was conveyed to me for the second time that it should be recited in two dialects.

I again replied to him: Make affairs easy for my people.

It was again conveyed to me for the third time to recite in seven dialects

And (I was further told): You have got a seeking for every reply that I sent you, which you should seek from Me.
